Learn about the story, the characters, and the dances in the show, learn valuable audition techniques, and go through a mock audition to learn the process in preparation for auditions for XANADU!
Ages 8 to 18
Auditions for the show will be held on May 7 & 8.

SPECIAL Opportunity – FREE workshop
Master Class: Tap Dance1:00 pm - 3:00 pmClass Experience
Join a professional teaching artist and dive into the world of tap. This workshop will give students a professional-level experience to help elevate their tapping to the next level. They will learn expert tips for performance and beyond.
Master Class is May 4 at 1 pm – 3 pm

Auditions for Xanadu Jr. at EVCT will be held on
May 7 & 8
5 pm for kids ages 8–11
7 pm for kids ages 12–18No advanced preparation is necessary. Come ready to dance, and read from the script. Dress comfortably for movement and wear closed-toed shoes. Please bring a photo of yourself you can leave at the theatre. The audition card is available below, just download it, fill it out, and bring it with you when you come to the audition.
Auditions and all rehearsals are held at the EVCT Studio, 4501 East Main Street in Mesa.

- 28Summer Camp Session IAll Day
East Valley Children’s Theatre Summer Camp Session I!
Be immersed in a week of imagination! Kids create their own characters, stories, camping props, and costumes. Camp culminates in a performance on the final day of camp.
May 28 – June 28 from 9 am-4 pm, at the EVCT Studio, 4501 East Main St, on the SE corner of Greenfield & Main in Mesa.
All campers will need to pack a lunch each day.
Cost of Camp varies. ESA Funding accepted as payment.
Sibling discount available. Fees are nonrefundable or transferable.

Who can perform?
Any student, teacher, designer, or alumni of EVCT.
Performance Guidelines
Acts can be of any talent but may not exceed 5 minutes.
Performance Info
The cabaret will be held on June 18th at 7 pm. Performers must be at tech rehearsal the night of June 17th at the MAC.
