Spring Break Musical Theatre Camp
March 15-19, 2010, 8 am to 4 pm

March 15, Monday – Prologue
Camp orientation, Auditions techniques and auditions
March 16, Tuesday – Act I
Basics in Acting, Singing and Dancing
March 17, Wednesday – Act II
Work on scenes, songs and dance
March 18, Thursday – Act III
Finalize and polish scenes, songs and dance
March 19, Friday – Epilogue
Work on presentation skills and final performance at 2:30 pm.
Daily – Improv games, skill building games, lots of fun and supervised lunch (KIDS MUST BRING THEIR OWN SACK LUNCH AND DRINKS EACH DAY). The camp will focus on musical theatre skills in dancing, singing and acting, with a presentation to the parents the final day of camp. Camp is open to youth age 8-15. Classes will be grouped by age, and are open to all kids regardless of experience or expertise. Camp size is limited so register early.
Cost of the Camp is $165 per person.

EVCT SUMMER CAMP – 2010
Join us for two or four weeks of exciting theater activities! Open to boys and girls ages 8 through 15, this fun-filled summer program will motivate young actors to think creatively and build self-confidence through participation in music, dance and acting. In addition to these activities, participants will learn skills in musical theatre performance from rehearsal through a final performance. Each session is two weeks of non-competitive, educational FUN with theater. Not to mention you will be working with some of the greatest teachers, staff and volunteers, all highly trained and experienced in theater and the intricate workings of putting on a show.
Camp Location – Stapley Junior High School, 3250 East Hermosa Vista Drive in Mesa located north of McKellips Road between Lindsey and Val Vista
This summer EVCT will have two sessions of its Summer Camp program:
Session I – June 1-11, 2010
Concludes with a daytime performance on June 1.
Session II – June 14-25, 2010
Concludes with a daytime performance on June 25.
These sessions have many options for your convenience. The options are listed below:
>>AM Program: (8:30am – 12:00 noon) Fee: $155
Offering classes in Music, Acting and Dance
12:00 – 1:00 pm Lunch for instructors and staff and those attending both sessions
>>PM Program: (1:00pm – 4:30pm – Session I and 1:00pm – 4:00pm – Session II) Fee: $155
Musical Theatre Production workshop, takes kids through audition, rehearsals and final performance on last day of camp. Production written especially for EVCT Campers.
>>All Day Program: (8:30am – 4:00pm) Fee: $225
All day session, combining curriculum from both AM and PM sessions. Students must bring a sack lunch each day if attending the all day program. All classes and programs are grouped by age. Teen classes will work on a separate show for the final presentation.

Imagination Theatre Camp - 2010
For Youth Age 5-8
June 7-18, 2010, Monday through Friday 9 am to 12 noon
EVCT Rehearsal Studio, 4830 East Main Street, Mesa, AZ 85205
(Located between Greenfield and Higley Roads on the north side of the street in Arden Square Plaza)
Classes will be grouped by age. This is an introduction camp to performing on stage and will focus on basic theater performance skills in acting, singing and dancing. The camp participants with the guidance of EVCT staff members will create a musical performance piece that will be presented to the parents on the final day of the camp. A morning snack is included in the fee.
Cost of the Camp is $165 per person.
